Wonderful place and newly renovated room. Early check-in and late check-out, outstandingly accommodating staff. Nice building and rooms with a couch. Favourable, decent location on top of the hill.

Convenient location next to restaurants and a hiking trail, perfect for exploring the city 🍽️. I had a great time attending a concert and checking out other attractions nearby. And the best part? I felt completely safe during my stay.

Liked the place, had a really really nice stay during my last visit. The rooms were contemporary, extremely pleasant, came with high end soft sheets, fridge plus the dresser. The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, abusive in nature.

This place has a great location near a shopping area, and I was able to access the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway within walking distance.

The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying a very relaxing area, just off the quaint college town as well as several good restaurants. The rooms were contemporary and extremely pleasant with a seating area, iron and ironing board, and an electronic key card. Had private bathroom with all essentials.

The Hampton Inn Athens is a clean hotel with lovely views and an excellent design. Its location is just a short walk away from restaurants and other attractions, situated on a hill overlooking the quaint college town.

Wonderful stay! The bed was comfortable and the roll away bed for the kids was perfect. The breakfast had a good variety and tasty local fruit. The pool was warm and the hot tub was relaxing. The staff promptly resolved any issues we had. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wouldn't honor AAA or AARP. Rate was higher than quoted.

We had a great time in the lobby area, it was really nice. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Shade on State St where they serve delicious drinks and cocktails. This hotel is an ideal choice for families. The free Wi-Fi worked perfectly during our stay.
